Maruia Falls in New Zealand<\/p><\/div>\n

Originating from the Spenser Mountains in the South Island of New Zealand, Maruia Falls are stunning 10-m-high falls that drop into the calm Maruia River. The 80-km-long river fuses with a larger river to pave its way into the beautiful Maruia Falls. These wide river waterfalls are nestled amongst some of the brilliant scenic landscapes, which are truly a treat to a traveler’s eyes.<\/p>\n

These Falls are believed to have formed as a direct result of the 7.8-magnitude Murchison Earthquake that took place in 1929.<\/p>\n
