Burr<\/em>ell Collection in Glasgow showcases a unique art collection<\/p><\/div>\n

Named after its donor, Sir William Burrell, the Burrell Collection is an award-winning building that houses some of the finest artistic collections. Born in 1861, Burrell got inclined to the arts in his teens. In 1900s, he became popular as a respected collector. The displays comprise works by major artists such as Degas, Rodin, and C\u00e9zanne. The Burrell Collection in Glasgow also includes samples of late medieval art, Ancient Civilizations, Chinese and Islamic art. Besides holding temporary and permanent exhibitions, the Burrell conducts regular events for both adults and families.<\/p>\n
