Universal Orlando Resort at Florida, USA
Universal Orlando Resort contains two theme parks, Universal Studios Florida, and Islands of Adventure. The Resort also offers entertainment, shopping, and luxury hotels.
Universal Studios Florida, like its counterpart in California, is home to film-themed rollercoasters and shows. The park is divided into six zones, themed for Hollywood, Production Central, New York, San Francisco, World Expo, and Woody Woodpecker, the park mascot.
Universal’s Islands of Adventure contains seven islands, each with a different adventure theme. The seven islands are Marvel Super Hero Island, Toon Lagoon, Jurassic Park, The Lost Continent, Seuss Landing, and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, which opened in 2010.
Wet ‘n Wild Orlando, a water park, was acquired by Universal Orlando Resort. Universal CityWalk is a downtown shopping and entertainment district in the resort. CityWalk has a variety of restaurants and nightclubs, as well as a theater with nightly shows by the Blue Man Group.
The resort also has three hotels: the Hard Rock Hotel, Loews Royal Pacific Hotel, and Loews Portofino Bay Hotel and Spa to offer the guests a complete vacation package including fine dining, luxurious accommodation and unforgettable recreation.

Grad Bash and Gradventure sponsored by Coca-Cola are held in April and May. Organized for graduating high school senior classes, the Grad Bash features dance parties with DJs and live performances by famous artists. Gradventure targets middle school graduating students and is a similar event.
Halloween Horror Nights, one of the largest Halloween events in the U.S., is held annually at Universal Orlando.
Mardi Gras is held on Friday and Saturday nights from February through to April. It includes performances of Louisiana’s bands and an after party in the French Quarter at Universal CityWalk.
Rock the Universe, Macy’s Holiday Parade and the summer concert series are also held at the resort.

Best time to visit Universal Orlando
Universal Orlando is open year-round, and with the warm Florida weather, people visit the park during every season. Though the weather is still warm, Florida experiences thunderstorms during summer, but they do not typically last long. The park is busiest when schools are out for summer, spring, and winter breaks. The smallest crowds are typically found between Labor Day and Thanksgiving.

Universal Studios and Universal’s Islands of Adventure are open throughout the year. The opening time of both of the places is 9:00 am, and closing time varies. Universal CityWalk opens all round the year from 11:00 am to 2:00 am.
