Sans Souci Beach Park: Crowdless respite

The Sans Souci Beach Park is a favorite of the locals. As the beach is situated near the New Otani Kaimana Beach Hotel, it is also referred to as Kaimana Beach. If you are good at swimming, you may follow the Kapua Channel that traverses the reef. It seems an isolated oceanfront, away from the frantic tourists. Just keep in mind that sudden currents may hit the channel, so you need to ask the lifeguards before diving in. There are very limited amenities available in this beach park. It is the only beach in Waikiki with the shade of trees on the shores. The beach is in front of the Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort and Spa. Fort DeRussy Beach: A bliss for the retired military

Offering panoramic views of Diamond Head, the Fort DeRussy Beach is located in front of the Hale Koa Hotel. It is a favorite place of people who have retired from the military jobs. It is, in fact, maintained by the military. Like most of the other beaches in Waikiki, this beach also has lifeguards to safeguard the visitors. Restrooms and outdoor showers are other amenities at the beach. On Friday nights, the visitors can enjoy Hilton fireworks. The Army Museum is located on the north side of the park. The beach features white sand tapped by gentle waves, sand volleyball courts, and shadowy grass grilling areas. It is the best beach for swimming and walking.
