Flights to Palestine

There are no direct flights to Palestine. The direct Palestinian flights stopped after the Yasser Arafat International Airport was destroyed by forces inimical to Palestinians.

The absence of flights to Palestine has forced travelers visiting the country to land at Tel Aviv airport in Israel. There are regular flights to Tel Aviv from North American countries and Europe. A number of European airline companies like Air France operate regular commercial passenger flights to Tel Aviv. The Israeli national air carrier El Al operates daily flights to the Israeli capital city from the American city of New York. Turkish Airlines operate 3 flights per day to Tel Aviv from Istanbul.
