Quetta Pakistan is located within the vast region of Baluchistan. Quetta is the prime city of the region of Baluchistan in Pakistan. Quetta, formerly known as " Kwatta", means fort in the Pakistani language.
The city of Quetta is one of the most beautiful cities in Pakistan. The city of Quetta amongst all the Pakistan cities, is surrounded by gentle hills having lush green vegetation. There are large expanse of desserts in the city of Quetta and a nomadic style of life is lead by the natives of these regions. The food crops, which are grown in the region of Quetta are maize, millet, barley, potatoes and wheat. This city is rich in other mineral resources and the main source of livelihood for the natives of Quetta is agriculture.


Quetta is a major trading center in the region of Baluchistan as well as in the country of Pakistan. Ethnic products and traditional handicrafts are exported largely from this region to other foreign countries. The city of Quetta is well connected to the rest of the country through roads, highways and railways. It even has a rich historical background and large historic forts are important sights for tourist attraction.
