Chinakkathoor Pooram - The Sree Chinakkathoor Bhagavathy Temple in Palappuram, Palakkad, Kerala, is lit up on the March 7 and the festivities here should not be missed.
Gangaur Festival - Rajasthan is where you should head on the March 25 and 26 for the grand desert festival. Gangaur is one of the most colorful celebrations in the state.
Holi - The festival of colors is celebrated across the country. Be ready to indulge in colors, heady revelries and some song-dance routines on March 27.
