The Rainbow Nation of the World
Located at the southern tip of the African continent, South Africa is well known for its wine, variety of wildlife and landscapes. South Africa is nicknamed as the Rainbow Nation because of the fact that the country's flag sports 6 different colors. The country boasts of rich and beautiful landscapes like the deserted Kalahari, Namakwa's springtime masterpiece of wildflowers, iconic Table Mountain and Cape Point, Kruger National Park's wildlife-shadowed savannah and, Lesotho and the Drakensberg in the east of the country. KwaZulu-Natal's iSimangaliso Wetland Park itself has five distinct ecosystems, attracting both zebras and dolphins.
