Elon Musk’s dream of sending humans to the moon just got a step closer to reality. Yusaku Maezawa, a Japanese billionaire, has expressed his desire to become the first citizen for the moon trip. But, Maezawa would have to wait for at least five years before he is able to have a glimpse of the extra terrestrial rocky surface. The trip, which is estimated to be around four to five days, would not take place until 2023. Though, Elon Musk has kept under wraps the amount that Maezawa would be paying for his trip, nevertheless, he has maintained that Maezawa would make a considerable payment towards the developmental costs. If Elon Musk’s dream does ever fructify, Yusaku Maezawa would carve a solid reputation for being the first private passenger for the moon trip.
