Seto, a Japanese city, is famous worldwide for its pottery and is also known as'Nihon Rokkoyo'. The city of Seto is located in the Aichi prefecture and is very near to the town of Nagoya.

It is best to visit Seto during the pottery festival as the tourists during this time will be able to get the taste of original and varied Seto pottery items and even collect them at reasonable price. Seto chinaware which includes tea bowls is very famous worldwide apart from these animal figures and dolls are also made. Touso festival is held every year in April, in honor of Toshiro, an extraordinary ceramic artist. During this festival it is possible to see more than hundred samurais marching together.
The city of Seto got international fame when it hosted 2005 World Exposition which was a conference attended by delegates from around the world.
