Ophelia hits parts of Ireland: Three dead

At least three people were killed as remnants of post-tropical cyclone Ophelia hit many parts of Ireland. According to media reports, the United Kingdom witnessed strange red skies due to the storm, which had wind gusts exceeding 90 miles per hour. In Ireland's Waterford County, a woman was killed after a tree fell on her car crushing it, while in Dundalk a man was killed after his car was struck by a tree. The third death was reported from Tipperary when a man died in a chainsaw accident.
Hurricane Ophelia weakens to a post-tropical cyclone

Hurricane Ophelia, which is expected to hit Ireland and Britain, has weakened to a post-tropical cyclone. Nevertheless, the cyclone can still bring strong winds and cause damage to the two nations. According to Britain's Met Office, Northern Ireland, which is a part of the United Kingdom, can get hit by 80-mph gusts. Strong winds are also likely to hit England, Scotland, and Wales.
