Indian Space Research Organisation successfully launched its 714 kg Cartosat-2 Series Satellite along with 103 co-passenger satellites on February 15, 2017 at 0928 hrs (9:28 am) IST from Satish Dhawan Space Centre SHAR, Sriharikota. This was PSLV's thirty-eighth successful mission, which was achieved consecutively. All the 104 satellites which were carried on-board PSLV-C37 weighed 1,378 kg.
Among the 104 satellites, PSLV-C37 carried one Cartosat-2 Series Satellite and two technology demonstration satellites, which are all from India. Rest of the 101 co-passenger satellites carried were international customer satellites from countries like USA (96), Switzerland (1), The Netherlands (1), Kazakhstan (1), Israel (1) and UAE (1).
