Two brothers and suspected Jihadis stormed the office of Charlie Hebdo near Bastille on 7 January 2015, and gunned down 12 people. Eleven others were reportedly injured in the attack, a retaliation that was planned after the magazine published a caricature of Islamic State chief Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi on its Twitter account.
