Ted Cruz pulls out of Presidential race after losing Indiana primary

May 3, 2015 - Republican candidate Ted Cruz announced his decision to end his campaign for the US Republican presidential nomination after he lost to his rival, Donald Trump, in the Indiana primary. Trump is almost certain to be the Presidential nominee. Cruz was pinning hopes on Indiana to stop Trump from getting the nomination. With Cruz's departure, Trump is sure to reach the 1,237 delegates required to win.
