Obama and Romney prepare for final debate

President Barack Obama and Republican challenger Mitt Romney are set to face each other in the third and final presidential debate tonight.

With 15 days to go until the November 6 election, foreign policy will be the focus of the debate at Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida.

The 90-minute event starts at 9pm EST and will be moderated by Bob Schieffer of CBS.

Romney’s strong performance in the first debate kicked off a change in the course of the race to the White House as he closed a gap in the polls with Obama.

The Democratic incumbent was seen to be hesitant in a widely panned performance.

Obama was ruled the winner of the second debate though it was not enough to push ahead in the polls.

Ahead of the final debate, Obama seems to have the upper hand on foreign policy as he has been in charge of U.S. national security for nearly four years. He also gets credit for the mission that led to the killing of Osama bin Laden and for pulling troops out of Iraq.

The debate will be divided into six segments: America's role in the world, the war in Afghanistan, Israel and Iran, the changing Middle East, terrorism, and China's rise.
