    Firefighters have made progress against the deadly California wildfires. Till now, the fires have claimed around 40 lives and burned more than 220,000 acres. According to the Sheriff's Office, around 174 people are reported missing in Sonoma County. In the Napa County, 146 people have been found safe of the 224 who were initially unaccounted for.

    The deadly California Wildfires continued to blazes on Tuesday. Media reports quoted Cal Fire as saying that around 15 people have died in some 17 fires across the state. The fire had also destroyed some 2,000 structures. Meanwhile, the sheriff of Sonoma County has received reports of 240 missing- person. Of these, 57 people have been found by the authorities.

    Wildfires claim 10 lives in California

    At least 10 people have been killed in the deadly wildfires ranging across California. The wildfires, which have destroyed homes, have forced evacuations of more than 20,000 people. Many people have sustained injuries and as per media reports, more than 100 people were being treated at the Napa- and Sonoma-area hospitals. Cal Fire Director Ken Pimlott said that the wildfires, which ignited on Sunday night and Monday, spread at a very fast pace due to dry conditions. Around 57,000 acres have been burned in eight counties and some 1,500 structures destroyed.
