Wildfire 'The North Complex Fire' Devastates California; Three Dead

  • On Wednesday, three people lost their lives in a wildfire called 'The North Complex Fire' raging in northern California. The fire has forced thousands of people to leave their homes. As per the reports, the fire is raging from August 17, and the deaths have taken place in two separate locations. Of the three people, one of them was found in a car trying to escape the flames California Highway Patrol Officer Ben Draper. 'The North Complex Fire,' which started separate blazes sparked by lightning, is "one of more than two dozen blazing in California." Since August, California has destroyed more than 3,600 structures, burned old-growth redwoods, charred chaparral, and forced evacuations in communities near the coast, in wine country and along the Sierra Nevada.
