Which country is the least-connected?
June 29 , 2014
According to the United Nations, Eritrea is the least-connected country in the world with less than one percent of the population having landlines.
"Even after waiting half an hour, you might not get to the page you want," a journalist said while talking about dial-up connections in the region.
Moreover, press freedom in Eritrea is bad and most people can't afford connectivity. There have been reports of human rights violations in the regions as well, as per the BBC.
