Vladmir lashes out at the US and NATO
May 28 , 2016
Russian President Vladimir Putin, on a two-day visit to Greece, lashed out at the policies of the United States and NATO. He was critical of the newly expanded US missile defense system which according to him posed a threat to Russia. Putin accused US and NATO of stifling trade and energy cooperation with Russia. Recently, a US program was declared operational at a site in Romania which NATO says is in response to a growing capability of ballistic missiles globally, but Russia seems highly skeptical about it. Vladimir openly declared it as a threat to Russia as the system can be easily modified to have an aggressive capability.
