Venezuela Attempting to Hunt Down Rogue Helicopter Attackers
June 29 , 2017
On June 28, the Government of Venezuela attempted to hunt down rogue policemen who attacked important installations by helicopter. However, critics of President Nicolas Maduro feel that the attack may have been organized in order to justify the current state of repression in this South American country. On June 27, rogue policemen stole a helicopter, dropped grenades on the Supreme Court, and fired shots at the Interior Ministry. The opposition of Venezuela sees both of these as the main pillars of support for the dictator Maduro.
