Usain Bolt seals Glorious Olympic Career with 9th Gold

  • Usain Bolt seals Glorious Olympic Career with 9th Gold

Legendary Jamaican athlete Usain Bolt became immortal with his 9th career gold, an unprecedented “triple triple” feat achieved by any athlete. The 29 year old reached this feat when he helped his 4x100m relay team (including Asafa Powell, Yohan Blake and Nickel Ashmeade) to secure gold medal in the final by clocking 37.27 seconds. Bolt is the first athlete ever to win 3 gold medals in 3 sprint events in 3 Olympic Games. After the exhilarating win, Usain Bolt said "There you go, I'm the greatest". Though Bolt intends to retire after London’s 2017 World Championships, his teammate Blake said that he’ll try to convince him for 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
