US viewed favorably by world, survey reveals

A large percentage of the world’s population has a favorable opinion of the US and America’s leadership in the fight against Islamic State, a global survey of 40 nations by the Pew Research Center has revealed.
A global median of 69% view America favorably, up from 65% in the previous two years.
A majority in 30 countries consider the US to be the biggest economic power in the world compared to China. But the majority in 27 countries think that in future China will replace America as the top superpower, according to the survey.
