A US veteran and active duty soldiers have reached the summit of Mount Everest. Retired Staff Sgt. Chad Jukes, 2nd Lt. Harold Earls and Capt. Elyse Ping Medvigy, who scaled Mount Everest for nonprofit organization U.S. Expeditions and Explorations, achieved the feat on Tuesday. The aim was to throw light on the tough battle that veterans experiencing suicidal thoughts and post traumatic stress have to face every day.
