US, UK and France call for air drops of humanitarian aid to besieged Syrian towns

The United States, France and the United Kingdom have called upon the UN to start air dropping humanitarian aid supplies to war-torn Syria’s besieged areas. As per media reports, the countries said that the government of Syria has failed to honor the June 1 deadline that was set for widespread aid distribution by world as well as regional powers. To discuss the issue of air drops, the UN Security Council will meet on Friday.
