A toddler from Utah survived after being strapped in a car seat for 14 hours after the vehicle crashed into a river.
The girl Lily Groesbeck, aged 18 months, was found alive by a fisherman, the US police said. She was hanging upside down but the water never touched her, reports said. Her condition was described as stable but critical.
The girl’s mother, Lynn, who was driving from Salem to her house near Provo, did not survive the crash.
