US President Vows to Build Wall along Mexico "Ahead of Schedule"

  • US President Donald Trump, while addressing CPAC (Conservative Political Action Congress), stressed on his "America First" outlook and vowed to build controversial border wall along Mexican border "ahead of schedule". Reuters cited an internal report of Homeland Security to underline that construction of the wall could cost up to $21.5 billion, much higher than $12 billion estimated cost of President Trump. US President also vouched to fully "obliterate" Islamic State. He went on to say that foreign terrorists will not be able to strike USA if they are not able to enter America. Relation between White House and media soured further as President Trump again criticized the latter for using unnamed sources.
