US President Trump to Hold Second Summit with North Korea's Kim in Late-Feb'19

  • The US President Donald Trump is scheduled to hold a 2nd summit with North Korean Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un during late-February 2019. The White House made this announcement on Friday after meeting top nuclear negotiator of North Korea Kim Yong Chol, who is known as a hardliner as well as a former North Korean spy. White House spokesperson Sarah Sanders said that the meeting between the US President Trump and the North Korean negotiator continued for an hour and a half. The issues discussed during the meeting included the issues of denuclearization as well as the second summit. Reports say the sanction will continue on North Korea despite scheduling the second summit in February.
