US President Trump Places a "Compromise" Formula for ending Government Shutdown

  • The US President Donald Trump has placed a new “compromised” new plan for ending the over 4-weeks long government shutdown. He reportedly compromised on the so-called Dreamers (who entered the United States at a young age illegally). However, he still needs US$5.7 billion for funding the US-Mexico wall. Democrats have rejected the idea of funding the wall. President Trump said in his speech that the US has a proud and long history of welcoming migrants. However, for a pretty long time, this system has been broken. He went on to say that he wants to break that logjam and provide the US Congress of ending the government shutdown.
