  • US President says Dallas Gunman not Representative of African-Americans

    A day after a coordinated sniper operation from rooftops in Dallas during a protest march against police-killing of 2 black men and death of a black US military veteran who coordinated the attack killing 5 policemen in Dallas, US President Barack Obama underlined the need of gun control issue and called the slain shooter a “demented individual”. Obama went on to call Dallas attack “vicious, calculated, and despicable”. He said the shooter doesn’t represent true spirit of African-Americans and asked Americans to step back and refrain from destructive rhetoric.
