US President Obama at NATO Warsaw Summit to Tackle Security Threats

  • US President Barack Obama, along with other leaders of the NATO military alliance, met in Poland. They are expected to be ordering ambitious actions against wide array of security threats including violent Islamic extremism, increasingly unfriendly Russia, and others. NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg predicted a landmark summit by saying that the bond between the US and European nations will be even stronger in the coming days. Obama has announced sending 1,000 additional US troops to Poland as NATO effort to reassure support to its ally, near Russian frontier.
