US Introducing New Hard Line Regulations

  • The US Homeland Security is strengthening its hard line approach by introducing a fast-track deportation process in the country. As per new rules, undocumented migrants in the US who fail to furnish convincing proof that they have been in the country for longer than 2 years are likely to be deported. Most probably this policy will be published on Tuesday, July 23, 2019. Moreover, the policy will be implemented with immediate effect all across the nation. Meanwhile, American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), a human rights group, in one of their statements have confirmed that they will challenge this policy through the legal system. Acting Secretary of Homeland Security, Kevin McAleenan told media sources that this change is being implemented to alleviate capacity and burden issues on the nation.
