US economy grows at 3 percent in the third quarter
October 30 , 2017
The US economy grew at a robust 3 percent in the third quarter. This growth is despite the fact that the country was struck by two devastating hurricanes. The economy was benefited by steady spending from businesses and consumers which enabled it to beat forecasts of 2.5 percent annual growth. This was despite the hurricanes Irma and Harvey which led to a drastic slump in hiring.
