US Could Raise Tariffs to 25% on Chinese Goods

  • As per the sources, the US is planning to raise tariffs on Chinese goods from 10% to 25%. The tariffs would be raised on $200 billion. However, the sources also suggest the decision is not final and could be changed by the US which is in the trade war with China for months now. The talks between the two nations are not doing much either to calm the tension between them. Twenty-five percent tariffs have already been imposed by the US on Chinese goods with the worth of $34 billion. Tariffs might be imposed this very week on products costing $16 billion.
