US 'confident' of reaching final deal over Iranian nuclear program by June deadline
April 5 , 2015
Despite Republican opposition, the White House says it is “confident” that a final deal over the Iranian nuclear program would be reached by June.
A framework agreement between Iran and six world powers has set June-end as the deadline to finalize the deal.
According to the agreement, Iran will curb its nuclear activities and in return sanctions on it will be eased.
Iran’s president Hassan Rouhani has vowed to abide by the terms of the framework agreement as long as the six world powers respect their side of the deal.
