US-China Trade War Intensifies as Trump announce Implementing 25 Percent Tariffs on Chinese Imports

  • Trade war between the United States and China took a sharp turn on Friday as the US President Donald Trump announced that he’s pushing ahead with e hefty $50 Billion tariffs on imports of Chinese Goods. Reports say the USA has zeroed down on 800 strategically important Chinese imports on which they will levy a 25 percent tariff, effective from July 6, 2018. China’s Commerce Ministry responded by announcing they will also implement similar tariffs on the US imports in China. Reports say China is all set to implement 25 percent tariff on 659 US products including soybeans, seafoods, autos, and many more.
