US-China Deal Breakthrough seems Evasive as of Now
September 21 , 2019
The US-China deal seems to be elusive currently as the Chinese officials on Friday cancelled their visit to farms in Montana and Nebraska unexpectedly. The agricultural organizations in Montana and Nebraska told media that the Chinese officials were scheduled to visit them as a goodwill gesture. However, they abruptly cancelled the visit and returned China before the original schedule. The USA had removed tariffs from more than four hundred Chinese products overnight following the requests of the US companies. The US Trade Representative’s office said in a statement that the two-day long negotiations in Washington among the deputy trade negotiators of the two countries was “productive” and the principal-level trade meeting would take place in Washington in October as per plan. In a brief statement, Commerce Ministry of China also called the meeting between the deputy trade negotiators “constructive”.
