US border security chief has temporarily halted criminal prosecution of migrant families who have illegally entered the country. According to media reports, Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Commissioner Kevin McAleenan has said that President Trump's “zero tolerance” tactics were still in effect though the families would be detained together and would not be separated. He further informed that the prosecution referrals were suspended last week in Texas.
