US Asks Turkey of Tape That Can Prove Khashoggi's Murder

  • The US President Donald Trump has asked Turkey for a recording that would serve as an evidence for the killing of Jamal Khashoggi, the Saudi journalist. Trump told the press at the White House that “We have asked for it, if it exists.” Khashoggi was last seen on 2 October when he entered the building. However, Saudi Arabia has consistently denied its hand in his killing.

The last column of Khashoggi, the one he wrote before he disappeared, has been published by the Washington Post. It was about the free press's importance in the Middle East. The newspaper was holding back until this time in the hope of his return.
