University of Dublin professor suggests 'Irexit' to avoid damage due to Brexit from the EU

Ray Kinsella, a finance professor at University of Dublin suggests Ireland to seriously consider 'Irexit' and leave the 'divided EU' in order to avoid being left marginalized and economically damaged by Brexit. Kinsella, the leading academician, described the European Union as 'increasing militarized political behemoth” and urged Ireland to get out of it. He further said the unified stance of the EU against the UK was merely a 'charade' and urged Ireland to switch sides. However, the Irish government has recently rejected suggestions to consider an 'Irexit' as almost 90% of Irish voters are supporting continued membership to the EU.
