Recently, the UN Intergovernmental Panel, has warned that the global sea level may rise more than two meters by 2100, because ice melting has gained momentum in Greenland. Similar problem is being faced in Antarctica. In order to have a more clearer idea of the scenario, the leading researchers are carrying out a more structured analysis on the matter. Besides that, researchers have also claimed that if emissions continue at the same pace, the world seas would rise between 62-238 cm by 2100, which is a worst case scenario for global warming.
