UN says South Sudan militias raped women in lieu of wages

A UN report has revealed that in lieu of wages, militias allied to the army of South Sudan have been permitted to rape women during fighting against rebel forces. According to media reports, last year 1,300 women were raped in Unity state. In another reports, Amnesty International has said that government forces suffocated more than 60 boys and men in a shipping container.
