Ukraine's ousted President Yanukovych on Interpol's wanted list

The former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has been put on the wanted list by Interpol, according to media reports.
Yanukovych had fled to Russia in February 2014 after he was toppled from presidency following months of mass protests in Ukraine’s capital Kiev.Ukrainian authorities accuse him of corruption involving millions of dollars of taxpayers’ money.
Dozens of people were killed in clashes between the police and protesters during Yanukovych’s last few months in power.
Following his ouster, a conflict broke out in eastern Ukraine, with Russia annexing Crimea and some areas declaring their independence from the new government in Kiev.
