February 23 , 2015
A police officer was among two people killed when a bomb exploded at a rally in Ukraine’s Kharkiv city.
The march was being held to mark one year of the uprising in Kiev that had led to the ouster of president Viktor Yanukovych.
At least 10 people were injured in the blast targeting the marchers in the city, which is not part of the conflict zone in eastern Ukraine.
Officials said that several people had been detained and described the attack as “terrorist [in] nature”.
