UKIP leader in row over Hitler speech comment
August 11 , 2014
Britain’s UKIP has come out in defense of its MEP who reportedly praised Adolf Hitler’s speaking style.
During a seminar Bill Etheridge reportedly said that Hitler was “magnetic and forceful”. He told young candidates that the idea was to “pick up little moments” from Hitler’s speech.
A Labour leader described his comments as “simply unbelievable”. But the UKIP claimed that Etheridge was simply highlighting the style and not content of great speakers from the past.
