UK police apologize for using the names of dead children
July 17 , 2013
Britain’s police have apologized for making use of the names of dead children in order to create false identities for an undercover work. It was revealed that the names of 142 dead children that were born between 1940 and 1975 had been used for this purpose. Reports say that the families of the children have not been informed of this action since that could come in the way of the undercover work. However, Metropolitan Police chief Bernard Hogan-Howe said that at least one family had discovered about the usage of their child’s name.
