Typhoon Hato wreaks havoc in Hong Kong

Hong Kong witnessed severe conditions as Typhoon Hato directly hit this autonomous territory in southeast China. Typhoon Hato wreaked havoc in the place leading to flooded streets and cancellation of almost hundreds of flights. The officials were alarmed as Typhoon Hato, with winds up to 70.21Mph, was not expected to directly hit Hong Kong. According to news reports, thousands of people were evacuated on Tuesday in parts of south China in preparations for the arrival of Typhoon Hato. For the first time in five years, authorities have raised the Hurricane threat to 10.
