Typhoon Haiyan kills four in Philippines
November 9 , 2013
Typhoon Haiyan could end up becoming the most powerful typhoon in history. It has taken the lives of four people for now but the number is expected to grow since authorities mentioned that 12 million people are at risk.
The storm moved across the islands of the nation at winds of nearly 125mph. It triggered landslides, blocked roads, ripped off roofs and even uprooted trees.
One local governor said the only solution in such scenarios is to "pray, and pray and pray."
Authorities hope that mass evacuation will help keep the death toll low.
