Two men captured by Ukrainian troops 'confess to being in Russian army': report
May 22 , 2015
Two men seized by Ukrainian soldiers have confessed that they are members of Russia’s armed forces, according to a report by the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE).
The European mediators interviewed the two men at a Kiev military hospital. The two were armed “but had no orders to attack”, the OSCE said.
Russia previously claimed that the two individuals were not serving soldiers.
The OSCE said that the men were on a “reconnaissance” mission to Ukraine.
