Turkish PM to quit following rift with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan

Prime Minister of Turkey, Ahmet Davutoglu, has said that he will quit at an extraordinary congress of the ruling AK Party later in May. As per reports, there were speculations regarding the resignation of Ahmet Davutoglu since his meeting with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Wednesday. It is believed that Davutoglu has for long objected to of Erdogan's plans to move the country to a presidential system of government.
