With Turkey gearing up to organize “national unity marches” in Istanbul and Ankara during weekend and also unveil Martyrs’ Memorial on Istanbul Bridge to observe first anniversary of failed coup attempt, around 7,400 civil servants were sacked by Turkish authorities for having alleged links with terror groups. The total number of sacked state employees now reached 110,000 since the failed coup.
